    I suggested this place for a recent family dinner (lunch time). We ordered the salt & pepper pork chops, black bean choy sum, family style rice noodles, steamed fish with ginger & scallions, and stuffed eggplant. Everything was hot and came out fast. My favorite was the family style noodles. It's a very thin, dry noodle, but the toppings and flavor was surprisingly savory.

    Service was great, fast & helpful. The server suggested the salt & pepper pork, and it was tender and tasty, so we were happy with that recommendation.

    If you're looking for options for taking large groups, this place is a good option, since they have a lot of space and some large, round tables. We'll be back (probably next time we have a large family dinner).

    BEWARE!  A very terrifying experience here health-wise!!!  They put METAL in your food here!  What on earth??

    I found pieces of METAL in 2 different dishes the day I went!  I first only noticed because as I was chewing I noticed something very hard as I clenched and had to spit all my food out because it was wayyy too hard to be edible!!!  That is when I discovered the first piece of METAL!  Terrifying!  What if I was in a hurry and didn't chew and had just swallowed?  I'd have metal in my stomach!  What would it do in my stomach or intestines?  Would it rip a hole in my stomach or intestines?   A very real and scary possibility!  

    One other person in our party also found metal pieces in their food as well!  When I confronted 2 waiters about it they both didn't care and was just annoyed that I mentioned it.  They did not think there was anything wrong with hard pieces of metal being hidden within the food they served.  No apology.  Just the cold shoulder.  They didn't even ask if they should remove those dishes from the tab.  They didn't even ask if we were ok/safe.  They just kind of ignored us and hoped that we would be quiet and leave them alone.  What the hell???!!!

    For the sake of not ingesting pieces of toxic & hard pieces of metal it's probably wise to never set foot at this restaurant or eat anything that anyone brings to you from this restaurant.  I'm so serious.

    I cannot even bring myself to give this place any rating at all.
    I wanted to surprise a dear friend and his wife with a cake.
    This restaurant took it upon themself to alter my cake.
    It was my gift. My cake.
    This damn place put hideous flowers and some were not even edible and potentially dangerous!
    I am not only humiliated before the people I wanted to bless.... but I am enraged that anyone could take it upon themselves to alter a gift I made for my friend.
    Who the heck does that.
    I am livid and will NEVER support this restaurant.
    And the WORST part is that they tried to say my friend told them to decorate it.

    I usually get my Chinese food from nice day (see my other review) but needed to be Aiea so went here instead. Located at the old 99 ranch there is tons of parking.

    Place had a decent crowd. Pretty standard menu with all of the local favorites.

    Food was great, servings a little small, and service not to hot.

    Things I'd order again
    - Mongolian beef
    - minute chicken cake noodle
    - steam fish fillet

    My disappointment on the service
    - pork hash was the first dish to come out - like a minute after we ordered. And it was cold. Guessing somebody ordered by mistake and was sitting in the kitchen. Not cool. We sent it back
    - no rice for the first 20 minutes and had to ask twice. What?
    - service in general was slow. Had to wait a while to get any help, to order, to get more rice or fix our order etc

    Maybe they had a bad night. A good place for a meal if you're willing to be patient

    We come here almost every week...absolutely love the food, lots of parking, but most of all BYOB!
